Lil Wayne is going to be the first artist to release a full studio album online before it is available in stores. The much anticipated Carter IV will be available on digital outlets like iTunes and amazon.com immediately following the Grammy winning artists performance at the VMAs Sunday night at midnight. The album will be available in stores nationwide Monday, August 29th. Lil Wayne is the first artist to release an album digitally before it is available in stores. Wayne's last album, the Carter III was the best selling album of 2008.
